'High-speed rail is coming'
WATERTOWN - The question of high-speed rail's future in Wisconsin changed from "if" to "when" Wednesday as U.S. Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood announced $46.5 million in federal funds to make it a reality.

BLACK RIVER FALLS - From the opening batter the Jefferson American Legion baseball team had troubles with defending champion Ripon, and their troubles only got worse in a 10-2 loss, eliminating the local Legionnaires from the Class A State Tournament field Thursday in Black River Falls.
